The Studio Electronics Boomstar 4075 is a monophonic analogue synthesizer with an ARP 2600 style low-pass filter.
The Boomstar 4075 includes an ARP2600 style low-pass filter that many will remember as one of the best sounds of the 70s, based on the Moog low-pass filter of the same era, many musicians preferred the differing resonance of the ARP2600. Whichever your preference, Studio Electronics will help you get the sound you want.
The Boomstar 4075 is one of Studio Electronics Boomstar Synthesizer range, all fully analogue with discrete circuitry, the Boomstar range look to combine the sounds of different generations to create the ultimate desktop synthesizer. Housed in a sturdy steel chassis are two oscillators, the first capable of producing sine, triangle, saw and square waveforms, while the second produces triangle, saw or square waveforms. The 4075 includes what you'd expect from a Studio Electronics analogue synth in regards to routing and modulation, two envelopes, cross and ring modulation, standard LFO controls, CV Gate and MIDI I/O.
