Well out of the blue…. Propellerheads have announced Reason 8 the latest version of the synth and production software.
According to Propellerheads the UI has been completely redesigned and obviously some new “plug ins” will be included, a whole new look and creative flow with “drag and drop from anywhere functionality” from the “always open” browser.
Softube plug ins and amplifier models called AMP are said to be included with the new software release;
Reason 8 will be available in standard ($449/€405) and Essentials ($129/€120) versions, with upgrades from any previous version of Reason costing $129/€129. Anyone who purchased Reason 7 on or after 1 July 2014 will be eligible for a free upgrade….GBP pricing to follow soon!!!
