Description
The MOTU 16A is part of a MOTU’s new range of high end Thunderbolt audio interfaces. Each of the new MOTU interfaces feature AVB networking, connectable with each other through cat-5e up to 5 units giving room for expandability at very low latancy. The MOTU interfaces also features a DSP engine running 32 bit floating point processing, 12 stereo busses and DSP effects based on vintage hardware.
The MOTU 16A features 16 balanced / unbalanced TRS analogue inputs and outputs, plus 2×8 channel ADAT optical ports, delivering a total of 32 inputs and outputs, the 16A can be used to expand your analogue IO or as a flexible patchbay and mixer. The 16A features fantastic quality, with its balanced TRS analogue outputs measuring a dynamic range of 123dB. The 16A is also equipped with a 48channel digital mixer, the inputs can be received from anywhere, whether it be from the 16A’s inputs or through your host computer software.
