What that means to you is that distortion and noise is so miniscule, it’s practically non-existent! In the real world, the one you hear with your ears, the 1022 is perfect. Each channel has an XLR input, and you can apply phantom power via a front panel switch. The phase can be reversed and the channel muted by other front panel switches. Transparent gain is switchable from 5 dB to 60 dB in 5 dB steps. What’s more, the 1024 has a 10 volt nominal output capability to take advantage of the capabilities of 24-bit digital.
