Newly opened Play Deep Studios based in Kings Cross London has just added a pair of Focal SM9’s, supplied by Kazbar Systems to add the icing on the cake of an amazing new recording facility.

Having
backed up Mellefresh and Billy Newton Davies for years in Canada – Spydabrown
relocated to London in 2009 to embark on a new studio venture – setting up
Play Deep Studios in Ladbroke Grove, and moving onto bigger premises in King’s
Cross in 2012 where he built and designed the boutique studio, which
officially opened its doors in early 2015.

Deep Studios is one of London’s newest recording complexes. With a large live
floor and three private studios, each with their own vocal booths, Play Deep is a true ‘multi purpose’ facility.
Sypdabrown quoted: “Purchasing the SM9’s was one of the easier choices after two years of constant noise while building the studio. After all the hard work perfecting our rooms, I needed a speaker which I could be truly confident in and a speaker which reflects the quality of this facility”.
