Here is an example of modern composing and recording technology at its best. Pictured is acclaimed music composer Julian Ronnie whose credits include music for award winning productions such as Skins, Vice, Peak Practice, The Pride Of Britain Awards, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and many more.
Julain is currently enjoying sailing his yacht Domini just off the Ilha da Culatra, south of Faro but that is no excuse not to be hard at work on his next score.
Just before he flew out to his yacht, Kazbar Systems fully installed Julian’s new laptop from the ground up, installing and configuring Avid Pro Tools 12 and Julian’s existing Apogee Duet audio interface along with all of Julian’s essentials including Native Instruments Komplete, Spectrasonics and Waves plugins.
Pictured is Julian in front of his M-Audio Keystation 49 USB bus-powered controller keyboard, Apple MacBook Pro, Duet and G-Tech Thunderbolt Hard Drive storing Julian’s sound-libraries and audio projects.
Modern music technology has truly revolutionised recording and composition in a relatively short period of time allowing Julian to be hard at work on his next masterpiece, music for a new ballet, “Grilhetas 5071” for the Companhia Portuguesa Bailado Contemporaneo in Lisbon.
