Kazbar Systems has just supplied a pair of Focal CMS50 Active Monitor Speakers to Hugo White, guitarist from the indie rock band The Maccabees. Pictured is the CMS50’s in their place on the racks within The Maccabees studio alongside a pair of Adam S3X’s and pair of Yamaha NS10’s.
This is an excellent monitor speaker array offering very distinctive differences between the three sets of speakers. The NS10’s for a very flat and bright mix bringing out the mid and high’s for a more ‘radio reference’, the CMS50’s for general usage and providing excellent detail across all frequencies and then finally, for a full range sound plus final mix reference, the Adam S3X’s.
