In celebration of Genelec’s 40th anniversary, Kazbar Systems are happy to announce the limited availability of a special Saphire Edition 8341 pack with GLM kit, presentation crate & commemorative book and bag.
Earlier this year Genelec announced their intention to produce a 40th Anniversary Edition version of the 8341 coaxial three-way monitor from The Ones series – and asked the public to choose the colour finish.
Thousands voted for their favourite colour and that has now been announced as Sapphire Blue. Genelec will be producing a limited production run of just 200 pairs worldwide of this special 8341 model, individually numbered and supplied complete with a GLM kit, a 40th Anniversary commemorative book, and shipped in a custom wooden case.
But that’s not all. For each monitor sold, Genelec will be making a donation to the SOS Children’s Village charity in our native Finland. Founded in 1949 in Austria by Hermann Gmeiner, SOS Children’s Villages have spent decades helping families stay together to care for their children, and also providing a home for those children without any parental care to rely on.
These donations will be focused particularly on supporting preventative work for struggling families so that they can be helped before children are fostered or taken into care. And you’ll also be helping to fund music clubs for kids – so that the joy of music.
