Just a note to say we at Kazbar Systems are not at all happy about the demise of chain store Digital Village.
High St shops play an important part to the UK economy and there is a lack of high-end pro audio shops on the high st giving important accessibility to studio equipment manufacturers.
Digital Village’s demise will hit UK equipment distributors hard and yes the sales will filter through to other retailers but what will not help UK retailers is the Digital Village website has now been purchased by a German company.
This means anyone who buys from the Digital Village website will more than likely have their goods shipped from Germany devoiding UK distributors of important revenue and thus possibly effecting jobs.
So. The moral of this story, buy from British stores. Like us for example. British expertise, British support, British Jobs.
