David Knopler recently played his latest gig at the excellent Camden Forge venue played through the amazing EPA Quartetto system.

EPA is an excellent new speaker manufacturer whose systems are designed and manufactured in Verona Italy. The main models in EPA’s range are the TrioQuartettoOrchestraOboe Stage Monitor.

The EPA Trio speaker system is designed to perform in small to medium sized venues projecting an amazingly true and accurate sound to the audience but also ‘stage friendly’ due to it’s near zero feedback technology. This is an ideal solution where a venue may have a  small stage as the speakers can be mounted behind the stage if required. Normally this would cause major issues for the sound technician as the speakers would generate feedback due to the close proximity to the stage microphones. This issue is practically eliminated with the EPA speaker systems. EPA Sound Systems are designed to be scaleable for larger venues with bigger floorspace.

EPA is a new brand to the UK installation market, being promoted by Emanuele ‘Manny’ Giovagnoli (monitors engineer for Jethro Tull and occasional sound engineer for Queens Of The Stone Age, Arcade Fire, Brand New Heavies). Current installations include East London’s The Strongroom Bar and Camden’s The Forge.
