Kazbar Systems returns to Harbour Hotel and Spa Resort in Southampton to install a sound reinforcement and playback solution for ‘The Bow’ forward function room.
Ocean Village is a bustling modern development surrounding a yacht-filled marina on the River Itchen, Southampton. The stunning hotels and terrace bars sit alongside the prestigious Royal Southampton Yacht Club.
The ‘Bow’ is the Harbour Hotels‘ impressive first-floor event room, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, spectacular, sparkling chandeliers and panoramic views of the marina and Solent seascape.
The Bow Harbour Hotels Function Room
The audio solution for The Bow is separated into three zones – the corridor approaching the Bow, a seated area and a large open plan space under the chandeliers. The space is used for a variety of applications including business meetings / conferences, launches, wedding receptions and parties.
Audac ceiling speakers were installed to the open plan and corridor areas, with Electrovoice full range speakers located at opposite ends of the large open plan space.
In addition, an Apart media playback system was installed, with mobile phone connectivity (for background music), Sennheiser radio microphones for announcements / presentations, with a Cloud amplifier providing amplification and audio distribution allowing for different sources in of the each area.
