Bryan Ferry has upgraded his main studio monitors from Focal Twin 6 BE‘s to Focal SM9‘s. After initially being contacted by Simon Willey, Kazbar Systems delivered a pair of SM9’s to Bryan’s West London Studio for him to audition and and gage the performance of the speakers in their particular control room.
Simon Willey continues:
“We’ve enjoyed working on the Focal Twins for the last 3 years, but once we heard the SM9’s we were blown away.
The depth of sound is fantastic and the bottom end is deep and tight, without being muddy. The translation of mixes to other rooms is also brilliant, and we are looking forward ti doing more mixing on these speakers!”
