Berlin, Germany (January, 2016) — ADAM Audio is pleased to announce that its A7X monitors have been chosen as Best Studio Monitors in the 2015 Tech Awards by DJ Magazine.
Each year, the editors of DJ magazine nominate products which they believe help to shape and define the way DJs, producers, musicians and artists deliver their musical endeavors, with readers’ then casting their votes to elect the winners in each category. This year DJ magazine selected the A7X among a number of other monitors, calling them “a great pair of studio monitors that give amazing sound quality, stereo imaging and transparency with a very reasonable price tag.”
The A7X, ADAM Audio’s best-selling nearfield monitor, is one of the most balanced and versatile speakers currently on the market. The X-ART tweeter produces detailed, uncompressed highs and upper mids without being tiring over long listening periods. Despite its compact housing, the bass response is powerful and precise.
The tweeter is driven by a 50 Watt A/B amplifier and the bass/mid-woofer by a 100 Watt PWM amplifier. This achieves a very clean and nuanced reproduction of the midrange frequencies with a seamless transition in the crossover from the 7″ woofer, which operates in the range of 42 Hz to 2.5 kHz, towards the X-ART tweeter.
